Food Donation Program
Abrazar Inc’s USDA, CSFP, Donated Commodities Program
Commodities are distributed under four distribution programs:
Food provided by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is distributed once a month on every third Tuesday, which reaches about 1,800 senior citizens a month. Community Services Food Program (CSFP) is distributed on the second Wednesday of each month and serves 750 senior citizens.
Both USDA and CSFP are provided through a partnership with Community Action Partnership, formerly know as the CDC.
Abrazar distributes additional surplus donated commodities every Tuesday and Thursday for families and seniors facing financial difficulties reaching about 100 households per month about half of these households are senior citizens.
Donated Commodities (DC) receives donations from the Second Harvest Rescue Program and donations are distributed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In December, ABRAZAR distributes over 500 holiday food baskets thanks to generous donations from local markets, individuals, and fund-raising activities. This program is provided in partnership with Navidad en el Barrio a thirty-eight year-old organization that provides food for low-income families during the Christmas Season, City of Westminster, Second Harvest Food Bank, Community Action Partnership, Lexus of Westminster and United Way of Orange County and Sam’s Club.

"I didn't know how costly health care was going to be. My wife needs dialysis three times a week and I didn't know what I would do if I had to order an ambulance every week. ABRAZAR's drivers always help us get to the appointments on time and are always so polite and helpful. Your Transportation Program is a lifesaver."
